Description
*Administrative & Supervisory Duties:*
- *Department management*: Oversee daily operations of X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound, mammography, and interventional radiology sections
- *Staff supervision*: Schedule shifts, assign duties, and monitor performance of radiology technicians, assistants, and support staff
- *Quality control*: Ensure image quality standards, repeat rate monitoring, and adherence to diagnostic protocols across all modalities
- *AERB compliance*: Maintain radiation safety compliance, TLD badge records, lead apron checks, and AERB license/renewals. Act as RSO if designated
*Technical & Clinical Duties:*
- *Protocol development*: Standardize imaging protocols in consultation with radiologists for all modalities and patient groups
- *Equipment oversight*: Coordinate preventive maintenance, calibration, and breakdown calls with biomedical vendors. Maintain downtime logs and QA records
- *Critical case handling*: Supervise urgent/STAT cases, trauma, and interventional procedures. Ensure 24/7 coverage for emergency imaging
- *Training*: Train new technicians, interns, and nursing staff on radiation safety, patient positioning, and contrast administration
*Inventory & Documentation:*
- *Stock management*: Monitor and indent films, contrast media, chemicals, PPE, and consumables. Control wastage and maintain cost efficiency
- *Records & audits*: Maintain patient registers, exposure data, contrast usage, equipment logs, and NABH/AERB documentation for audits
- *Billing coordination*: Verify procedures done vs billing, prevent revenue leakage, coordinate with TPA/insurance desk
*Coordination & Reporting:*
- *Inter-department liaison*: Coordinate with ER, ICU, OT, wards for portable imaging and priority cases
- *Vendor management*: Evaluate new equipment, negotiate AMC/CMC, and coordinate installations
- *Management reporting*: Submit monthly MIS on workload, repeat rates, downtime, consumables, and major incidents to MS/management
*Qualifications*: http://B.Sc/M.Sc in Radiology & Imaging Technology + 5-8 years experience with 2+ years in supervisory role. AERB RSO certification preferred. Strong leadership and communication skills required.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
