ICU Resident Medical Officer (RMO)

Description
Position: ICU RMO (MBBS)
Key Responsibilities:
1. Patient Care & Monitoring:
Monitor vital signs and clinical condition of ICU patients regularly,
Assess critically ill patients and identify any deterioration early,
Maintain accurate patient records, charts, and progress notes,
2. Emergency Management:
Handle medical emergencies such as cardiac arrest, respiratory failure, shock, etc.
Perform CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and follow ACLS protocols,
Assist in intubation, ventilator management, and other life-saving procedures,
3. Treatment & Procedures:
Administer medications, IV fluids, and injections as prescribed
Perform basic procedures like:
IV line insertion
Arterial blood sampling
Catheterization
Central line assistance
4. Coordination with Consultants:
5. Documentation & Reporting:
Maintain case sheets, discharge summaries, and medico-legal records,
Ensure proper documentation for audits and legal purposes,
6. Infection Control & ICU Protocols
Follow strict ICU infection control practices
7. Communication
Communicate patient condition updates to relatives (as per hospital policy)
Coordinate with nursing staff and other departments
Required Skills:
Strong knowledge of critical care medicine
Quick decision-making ability under pressure
Basic life support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) knowledge
Good communication and teamwork skills
Qualification:
MBBS (mandatory)
Internship completion
Preference: Experience in ICU/Emergency or training in critical care,
Exposure to ventilators, monitors, and critically ill patients
Pay: ₹365.00 - ₹385.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
