ICU Staff Nurse

Job Description:

Ø Give Psychological support to the patient and family.

Ø Bed side nursing care to assigned stable patients in the ICU unit based on basic assessment and evaluating the outcomes.

Ø Provide routine care for all patients admitted in ICU.

Ø Make intake and output chart after monitoring the fluid and electrolyte balance.

Ø Monitoring vital signs and report any deviation from normal to the concerned team leader.

Ø Carry out various procedures like tracheostomy, intubation etc.

Ø Administer medications and treatments to the patient as prescribed by the physician.

Ø Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) in case of emergency situation.

Ø Conduct nursing interventions like wound drainage, catheterization and medication administration to delegated patient within the scope of practice.

Ø Specimen collection and send to the laboratory for the test, record the results accurately.

Ø Must follow universal aseptic techniques.

Ø Adhere to the hospital policies to prevent infection and to ensure standard health care to the patients.

Ø Based on disease condition, communicate with the patient and family and give health education.

Ø Work as an effective member of the team to provide quality and safe patient care.

Ø Practice and participate quality improvement professional in-service programes.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
