Lab Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Lab Technician to perform diagnostic tests and support accurate medical diagnosis. The ideal candidate will handle laboratory equipment, process samples, and ensure timely and precise reporting while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect, label, and process patient samples (blood, urine, etc.)
• Perform routine laboratory tests in hematology, biochemistry, microbiology, etc.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and analyzers
• Record and verify test results accurately
• Ensure proper storage and handling of specimens
• Follow standard laboratory procedures and safety protocols
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laboratory
• Report abnormal results to doctors or senior staff promptly

Eligibility Criteria:

• Qualification: DMLT / BMLT or equivalent qualification in Medical Laboratory Technology
• Experience: 1–2 years in diagnostic lab or hospital laboratory
• Knowledge of laboratory techniques and equipment
• Attention to detail and accuracy in testing and reporting
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with automated lab equipment and analyzers
• Knowledge of quality control and lab accreditation standards (e.g., NABL)
• Good record-keeping and documentation skills
• Ability to work in shifts

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹9,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
