Staff Nurse

Job Summary:

The Staff Nurse is responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, assisting doctors, monitoring patient conditions, and ensuring compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards. The role requires clinical competence, empathy, and strong coordination with the healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to patients as per treatment plans.
• Monitor vital signs (BP, pulse, temperature, oxygen levels).
• Administer medications and injections as prescribed.
• Assist in daily patient activities (hygiene, mobility, feeding if required).
• Assist doctors during examinations and medical procedures.
• Prepare and maintain patient records and nursing notes.
• Operate and monitor medical equipment (ventilators, monitors, IV pumps).
• Ensure infection control and hygiene protocols are strictly followed.
• Respond quickly to medical emergencies.
• Perform basic life support (BLS) and assist in advanced procedures.
• Coordinate with emergency and ICU teams when required.
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment charts report patient progress and condition changes to doctors.
• Ensure proper handover during shift changes.
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans and care procedures.
• Provide emotional support and counseling Address patient concerns professionally.

Required Qualifications:

• B.Sc Nursing / GNM (General Nursing & Midwifery).
• Valid registration certificate with State Nursing Council.

Experience:

• 0–3 years (Freshers may apply).
• Experience in ICU / Emergency / Ward.

Preferred Skills & Competencies:

• Strong clinical and patient-care skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in shifts (day/night).
• Teamwork and coordination Attention to detail and critical thinking.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹18,086.00 - ₹37,000.00 per month
