Pharmacist

Key Responsibilities:

Dispensing & Patient Care:

• Dispense prescribed medications accurately to inpatients and outpatients.
• Provide appropriate information on dosage, side effects, and storage of medications.
• Check prescriptions for errors and ensure patient safety.

Inventory Management:

• Maintain stock levels, check for expiry, and coordinate reordering of medicines.
• Receive, label, and store stock following safety and regulatory guidelines.
• Ensure proper documentation of drugs received and dispensed.

Regulatory Compliance:

• Adhere to hospital protocols, pharmacy policies, and drug control regulations.
• Maintain records of narcotics and schedule drugs as per guidelines.
• Participate in internal and external pharmacy audits.

Coordination & Communication:

• Coordinate with doctors and nursing staff regarding drug availability and alternatives.
• Report medication errors and adverse drug reactions as per protocol.
• Educate patients and staff on safe medication practices when required.

Other Responsibilities:

• Ensure cleanliness and hygiene in the pharmacy area.
• Maintain logs, reports, and computerized billing entries where applicable.
• Participate in stock verification and audit processes.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
