Duty Medical Officer

SRM Global Hospital is seeking dedicated and clinicaly sound MBBS Doctors to join us as Duty Medical Officers. The role involves managing in-patient care, attending to emergencies, and coordinating with Senior Consultants to ensure the highest standards of patient safety and treatment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patient Management: Conduct regular rounds in wards/IPD and monitor the clinical status of patients.
• Emergency Response: Provide immediate medical care and stabilization for patients in the Emergency/Casualty department.
• Clinical Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed electronic medical records (EMR), including admission notes, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
• Coordination: Act as the primary point of contact between nursing staff and Senior Consultants; assist in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Compliance: Ensure adherence to hospital protocols, NABH standards, and medical ethics.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Education: MBBS degree from an NMC-recognized institution.
• Registration: Valid registration with the Tamil Nadu Medical Council (TNMC) is mandatory.
• Experience: 0–3 years (Freshers with strong clinical internship experience are welcome to apply).
• Skills: Proficiency in basic life support (BLS/ACLS), minor surgical procedures, and excellent communication skills in Tamil and English.
